8 Father's Day Gifts from Amazon That Are Perfect for Whiskey Lovers – Food & Wine

My father, like many fathers, loves whiskey. But one can only give so many bottles of bourbon, as my sister and I learned this past Christmas, after realizing that we, along with her fiancé, had presented him with three. With Father's Day approaching (it's Sunday, June 19 this year) I've decided to branch out into whiskey-themed gifts for dear ol' Dad.
After doing a deep dive on Amazon's giftable whiskey accessories, like luxury chilling stones, I've rounded up eight unique presents perfect for guys who like brown liquor. They're all available with free delivery with a Prime membership, and many are even on sale. But don't wait too long to start browsing: I have a feeling that choosing the perfect gift out of such a fun lineup is going to take more time than Amazon's speedy delivery.

Subtly tell Dad to chill out with this set of nine high-end whiskey stones. They’re made from all-natural soapstone and are meant to be stored in the freezer, so they’re always ready to cool a glass of whiskey without watering it down. An included velvet carrying pouch is a nice touch that makes this supremely giftable, too. Although there is no shortage of whiskey stones for sale on the internet, I’m trusting this small business and its more than 7,800 perfect customer ratings.
This luxe decanter would be a handsome addition to any bar cart or buffet. With a diamond-cut starburst design made to capture and reflect sunlight, it’s a stunner that not only looks good but performs well, too. Its airtight stopper fits snugly in the bottle to keep Dad’s stash of good liquor free from impurities (or leaking!). It’s crafted in Parma, Italy, and is sure to elevate the ritual around cocktail hour. One five-star reviewer said, “After pouring our first glass of whisky from this decanter, we immediately felt more sophisticated and used words like indubitably, transcendent, and ergo. Indeed, drinking from this decanter will make even Canadian LTD taste piquant.” Hard to argue with that!
This set from Lord’s Socks contains three different patterns, all celebrating everyone’s favorite brown liquor. With non-slip silicone woven in, they won’t slump by midmorning. Not only are these clever — one set is printed on the soles with the words “If you can read this, bring me a whiskey” — but they’re high-quality too. Plenty of rave reviews note that these socks are comfortable and well-made… a bonus you don’t get with most novelty gifts.
A sizable 21 ounces of luxury cocktail cherries for $20? Seems impossible, but 2,380 perfect ratings can’t be wrong. Classic cocktail lovers praise this brand for its affordability and surprisingly high quality, ranking them as equal to or better than other brands with more name recognition. And if they taste hand-crafted, it’s because they actually are; Made in the USA with Michigan-grown cherries, they’re slow-cooked in copper pots. If the father figure in your life is an Old Fashioned fan, he’s going to love these. And if he’s not yet an Old Fashioned fan, get ready to introduce him to his new favorite drink.
When did bar carts get so complicated? A quick browse reveals trolleys with hooks, horizontal bottle storage, faux marble finishes, and pull-out drawers. This sleek and sophisticated model from Nathan James is unfussy and classic-looking. With just two shelves — the bottom is oak; the top’s glass — and a simple yet spacious design, this is a bar cart that won’t go out of style. The details are what really matter: wheels for easy transportation and a spacious shelf that can hold up to 10 bottles. And with a price just over $100? Unbeatable.
For the whisky (as opposed to whiskey) drinker, collecting your first Glencairn Scotch glass is a rite of passage. Elegantly shaped and designed to maximize the fragrant bouquet on a glass of single malt, these are the gold standard when it comes to Scotland’s most famous drink. Are they worth the hype? Absolutely. One converted-from-rocks-glasses customer explains, “I had been using traditional scotch glasses (straight sided) for years and didn’t think these would make a difference but I was wrong. I highly recommend these for any whiskey drinker.”
Is it a simple syrup or a bottle of bitters? Technically, both. This unique product is meant to do the work of both ingredients, resulting in a “just add booze” craft cocktail. The name isn’t just marketing lingo, either. The mix of sugar, spices, roots, and orange peel really is aged in freshly-emptied bourbon barrels. Fair warning: Once your dad has tried this flavor, he’s going to ask for the rest of the lineup for his birthday. (I bet the Smoked Honey Whiskey Sour mix is really delicious.) All of Bittermilk’s products are beloved by customers, who’ve left plenty of reviews like this delightful one: “Add a twist of orange rind and settle in to your favorite recliner — cheers!” Frankly, that sounds perfect.
This is a dream present for the adventurous drinker. Gift it with a bottle of neutral whiskey and let his imagination run wild: The kit includes three different types of oak and a variety of spices made for mix-and-match infusing. There’s also a recipe booklet to inspire cocktail hour, and labels so he can put a stamp on his signature blend. Customers routinely remarked that the packaging was top-notch, making this an effortlessly special gift.
